Oman Switzerland Friendship Assocation attends World Economic Forum Annual Meeting
The Oman Switzerland Friendship Association proudly supported and participated in Oman’s first Pavilion at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, held at the Hotel Dischma Davos in Switzerland from 20 – 24th January 2025, alongside the Minister of Economy, H.E. Dr. Said Mohammed Ahmed Al-Saqri and H.E. Mahmoud Hamed Al Hasani, Oman’s Ambassador to Switzerland.
The Oman in Davos Pavilion played a major role in enhancing Oman’s global reputation and visibility on the international stage. It aimed to provide greater access to international investment and technology, contributing to Oman’s long-term economic growth and diversification. The pavilion also strengthened partnerships with global leaders in areas like sustainability, innovation, and diplomacy, reinforcing Oman’s commitment to global cooperation and sustainable development goals, positioning it as a forward-thinking nation.
OSFA Vice-Chairman, Dr. Anka Kaestner was a Guest Speaker, presenting on the topic “Enhancing Diplomatic and Cultural Exchanges” where she discussed the role of diplomatic and cultural exchanges in strengthening economic ties and fostering mutual understanding between Oman and Switzerland.
